Bathroom Remodeling Contractor Reviews

Posted on February 23, 2012 by ruth in Contractor Reviews - No Comments

We have worked with other contractors that promised to get the job done quickly and it did not happen.  However, Chris was a different story.  He contacted us quickly and got down to business!

Willowbend bathroom renovation

He went beyond, like the stone we were laying was too heavy for the floor. So he made sure he went downstairs to make sure it wouldn’t move, wouldn’t crack down the line. He put in extra sub-floor. He was that way on everything. He made sure it was going in correctly so we wouldn’t have problems later on down the line. With the height of the stone after that, the bottom of the doors had to be trimmed off. He took all that into consideration and got it all done. It got to the point where he could read my facial expressions!

He was neat and clean. In fact, we had to tell him to stop cleaning up.  We would hear him in there vacuuming and cleaning up every day. We had to tell him there was no point cleaning up every evening because they were the only ones in there.

Bathroom remodel to accommodate moving elderly mother-in-law in

On his original bid, we kinda threw him a curveball. But he reacted well. He originally priced it to put in a fibre glass unit. We just decided to go w an onyx system which did require sheetrock, mudding and taping. I gave him an oppty to re-do the bid. But he didnt think that was nec. Everything was fine.

Remove & replace master bath tub/shower

I was made aware of what and when certain work would be done. If there was a conflict it all worked out.

Kids’ bathroom remodel

here’s always something that contractors find when they work on our house because it’s old. When he took out the old cabinet there was an old electrical outlet that had to be capped off. He leveled it out for us so it is level with the outlet that is already there. There were little surprises. He would show us and I dont know that there was any additional costs. Some of the piping was old and had to be replaced. He was very straightforward with us. He explained it was going to take three days and it did. He was only here an extra day for 30 minutes because of something he wasnt quite sure about the day before.
