6/1/07 Jonathon (Water Restoration Service Professional
on network) I got your fax from (homeowner) for your customer
satisfaction survey. I want to thank you greatly for sending
this in. He wrote alot more on yours than he did on ours.
He just basically check-marked 'Yes', he was satisfied, but
didn't put any comments like he did on yours. I want to thank
you greatly for sending this to us. Thank you for the work!

5/29/07 Candace - Thank you so much for bailing us
out again! It really helped lessen the stress of getting it
all done so we could get the house sold! I'm sure I'll be
calling or emailing for something with the new place! Stop
in and see us sometime! (HVAC service, Siding Replacement)
4/25/07 Frances - that has got to be the nicest man.
(Mason), he didnt look @ me like I was a stupid woman. You
know how the car lots do? He made suggestions and told me
how it can be done. He will start after your other guy hauls
off the concrete steps. It's so nice not having to worry about
who's coming to your home. I used to work @ the telephone
company. Our install & repair group there would show up
in torn t-shirts, tattoos and ragged pants. They were a nice
bunch, but that's who would show up on people's doorsteps!
I'm so glad I saved that newspaper clipping about you.
4/19/07 - Keiko (in Goddard) (Handyman) makes himself
easily accessible. When I would leave a message for him, he
would call me right back. I am so glad I called you. I would
still be calling to find someone. You're very conscientious
yourself! You're so dependable. It's such security to know
when I need somebody I can call you. (Shower tile repair project
which revealed more extensive damage underneath and required
numerous trips to restore.)
4/17/07 - Frances (retiree) Just wanted you to know
that (Mason) was here this afternoon. What a nice young man!
He has given me an estimate to fix my brickwork and made several
suggestions about my project. Thanks so much for helping me.
Nice to have someone do all the legwork for me so all I have
to do is accept the estimate and begin the work.
3/24/07 - Mary (stay-at-home Mother of five) ...was
very happy with (basement repair company), courteous, knowledgeable
and helpful. But with 4 potential leak areas, you can guess...not
ready to go ahead yet but he will be the one we call when
we do. Thanks so much for the tip, my husband told him directly
that we wouldn't look for anyone else to help us when the
time came, so I know he liked him too! See you and thanks
again!
10/31/06 - Mike (general contractor) (This family)
is a good, classic example of why you exist. They wanted to
make sure they had the best guy in there. They wanted to make
sure that it was a good business person. (Retired couple in
Udall, KS seeking home renovation from trustworthy contractor
on Ruth's network.)
10/26/06 - Laura - The bathroom remodel group has
been punctual, professional, quiet, and considerate of the
kids' nap schedule. They have been doing an absolute wonderful
job. The handyman is re-doing part of plumber's work because
it was crooked and I said it was ok, but he said it was not
to his standards. I'm so pleased, I didn't even get any other
estimates. We were comfortable w/your service. I have no complaints,
I have been very, very pleasantly surprised. It was a very
easy process for me (to connect with a contractor through
you). (Bathroom remodel through handyman contractor.)
10/18/06 - Kay - (retiree)I just called to tell you
how pleased we were with (Handyman's) work. He did such a
good job. We'll be calling you for more. I just feel I don't
have anyone to depend on anymore. I have children but they're
so busy and they don't live around here anymore, except two.
I just hate to bother them. My youngest son is opening a new
company, my daughter's husband is a manager and works his
tail off. As long as we can call you and as long as we can
afford to hire people we will do that. We'll get a little
done at a time. We're retired now and my husband can't do
it all anymore.
8/25/06 - Hannah - (also quoted on 1/26/06) - Ruth's
HomeWorks spoke with Hannah during her project to determine
level of satisfaction to date: The contractor is "very
communicative, they give warnings about what will happen.
They want lots of feedback." For instance "They
called to tell me about an area that needed to be re-mudded.
I would have to pay for it, but they were up-front and advised
me that I really wasn't going to like it." "They
are moving quickly, you can tell they are hardworkers."
She said she "really couldn't say anything bad about
their work." (Extensive home renovation project: includes
moving bathroom, knocking out walls, living room remodel,
new windows, steel door installs, wood floors, exterior synthetic
siding , stone masonry on porch walls, etc.)
8/22/06 - Sheryl - The plumber showed up and is in
the process of doing a great job. It's really, really nice
to call you and have everything taken care of. It helps a
lot when I don't have to go over there for a landlord-type-thing.
I really, really appreciate it and we'll be calling again.
(Urgent tenant plumbing repair.)
8/5/06 - Susan - Thanks for the referral for my ceilings.
He was very trustworthy and they did a great job. I was very
surprised that there was no mess for me to clean up. It was
much more reasonable than I expected. Thanks a bunch. (Popcorn
ceiling patches throughout home.)
7/17/06 - Therese - I just wanted to give you a follow-up
call. The (Drywall Professional) just left. He just finished
up his drywall work. I wanted to let you know, this guy is
top-notch. He really did terrific work for me. He's just a
good person. You've really got a real good one there and I
wanted to let you know that. (Drywall patch & repair,
water damaged ceiling repair.)
6/23/06 - Home Inspector - I just wanted to let you
know that (electric co) got out and took care of the situation.
It turned out to not be a big deal at all. The wire was just
nicked and the insulation just scraped off. All (the electrician)
had to do was tape it up and certify that it was ok. It wasn't
as bad as I thought it would be. It is going to work out.
I could have done that. But in terms of making both the buyer
and the seller comfortable, and that it was an accident that
happened, was corrected and then checked by a licensed electrician
- is important here. I am glad they came out and were able
to make it in good time. I'm on my way to Derby now. Thank
you. (Urgent electrical need in Goddard during home inspection.
Ruth's responded within minutes. Electrician responded immediately;
repair completed within two hours.)
6/16/06 - Charles (senior citizen) - Do you remember
me? I used to run a real estate company. You called me awhile
back. I just called because it's not real common for people
to call with good things to say instead of complaints. But
I wanted to thank you. We gave your number to a 92 year old
friend of ours. Something went wrong with her refrigerator
and she had water all over her floor. I just wanted you to
know she was quite pleased. They got right on it. They had
a compressor in their truck and took care of it there. My
wife runs errands for her. She used to go to church with us
but now she doesn't feel like it anymore. We're not much younger
than she is. Anyways, she was thrilled to death with the job
they did. You're real nice about everything and we appreciate
it. (Appliance repair emergency)
6/2/06 - Holly - I was just returning your phone call.
Things are going good. I did set-up the time with (handyman)
for some of the land work. It's a great referral. He's going
to tear out a few bushes for me. He seems like a really nice
guy. You've really hooked me up with some great people, and
I really appreciate it. Yes, (licensed contractor) is about
done with our bathroom, close anyway. We're waiting on a couple
of things. Doing a great job and thank you so much for the
referrals. If you call back and I don't get this, it's only
because I've gone into a store and am looking at some upholstery
materials. Unfortunately I didn't call you about that one!

5/26/06 - Neal (Homeowner's Association Vice President)
- I appreciate that you got ahold of the dirt worker. He called
me back in just 30 minutes. He will meet with me tomorrow.
I am going to let the other home associations know about Ruth's
HomeWorks. (Dirtwork, grading & drainage for subdivision
commons area)
4/27/06 - Gaye (single Mom - toddlers) - The carpet
guy you sent was awesome! He was professional and so nice.
He called the night before and said he'd call back the next
day to let me know when he was 30 minutes away. He called
@12:15 and was there right on time @1pm. I thought he would
just be able to do the estimate. But he went back out, got
his tools and had it done in 30 minutes! I was super-scared
about pricing for this. That's why I called you, Sarah. I
knew you'd send me someone who wouldn't take advantage of
me. I am telling my friends they have got to call you! (Carpet
repair)
4/21/06 - Tina - I just called to say they (handyman
company) have been wonderful. They called to let me know it
would be a different worker. They have been friendly and explained
things well. (Bathroom remodel, starts tomorrow!)
3/21/06 - Mary (new to Wichita) - It is so nice to
know I have you in my back pocket! (Disposal install, faucet
repair, basketball goal install & urgent plumbing need)
1/26/06 - Hannah - I have had good and bad experiences
in Wichita which is why I am thankful that a service like
yours exists. (Main room remodel)
12/21/05 This is Dave (senior citizen) and I just
wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas and to thank you,
Sarah, again for that wonderful card with the gift card in
it from the bookstore. Today I found a book that I will treasure
forever and it was one from my favorite author. It was just
like a blessing to find it and I was able to buy it with my
card. Thanks again for everything. You're wonderful people.

11/14/05 - Frankie - I just wanted to let you know
that Dave did an excellent job on our basement and we are
so pleased with it. He is the kind of young man you would
trust. And we did ... makes you want to adopt him. We are
almost finished, the carpet is being laid today. Then Dave
will come back and finish the trim and the outlets. It looks
really really great and we're happy that we used your service.

that Preston came by this morning and took care of all my
carpet needs. He was very professional and I was very satisfied
with his work. So thank you for all your help in lining that
up. I just wanted you to know right away that I would use

in the world I could've done all this without you. It would
have taken me years to check all these people out, I would
have died of old age first. This way I am very comfortable
with who you send. And they have all been very nice and professional.

5/20/05 Dave (retiree) - I had the plumber over again
today. And Ken was the guy who did the work. And he was just
wonderful. he did a fantastic job and everything I needed
very efficiently and promptly. The price was very understandable
and I just wanted to say once again I will recommend them
to anybody and I just wanted you to know since you were the
one who steered me to them. Have a wonderful weekend, I know
I'm going to. And thanks again for your referral.
5/20/05 Barbara - I'm sorry I've missed your calls.
I did want to tell you Greg (handyman) was out. He did a fantastic
job. I just spoke with him on the phone and told him I had
a check on its way to him. I put it in the mail this morning.
He did such a nice job. I'm very impressed. Thank you for
helping me get him over here. I know he probably had a busy
schedule that did have some weather problems initially, but
it was definitely worth the wait. Thank you for all your help
and I will be using your service again. (Replaced mailbox
with custom made version.)
